I would like to volunteer for Music Midtown…
How nice of you. We love volunteers.
Unfortunately we are not permitted to use volunteer services at Music Midtown 2012 and we are already completely staffed for the Festival.
We do appreciate your offer, but we can’t accept.

When is Music Midtown?
Music Midtown is Friday and Saturday, September 21 & 22, 2012.
Gates open Friday at 4:00 PM
Gates open Saturday at 12:00 noon. -
How much are Music Midtown tickets?
There are three ticket levels for Music Midtown. All the info and access to purchase tickets can be found by clicking here.

Where is Music Midtown located?
Music Midtown 2011 will take place in the 10th Street Meadow in Piedmont Park.

Will there be available parking at Music Midtown?
All partons are encouraged to take MARTA, bicycle, walk, or carpool to Music Midtown. Parking is very limited. For more information, please click here.

Are “ins and outs” or re-entry allowed?
Yes. Re-entry will be permitted but you must have your ticket “scanned out” when exiting. Once your ticket has been scanned out you must use the same ticket to gain re-entry to the festival grounds.

What items can I bring with me to Music Midtown?
- Each patron is allowed to bring in one factory-sealed bottle of water, or, one empty reusable water bottle or Camelback.
- Towels and blankets will be permitted. PLEASE NOTE: Chairs of any kind are prohibited.
- Non-professional recording equipment (like point and shoot cameras) is also permitted.
- Other things to note, please bring your ticket and a good attitude!

What items should I leave at home?
Items that are not allowed at Music Midtown are the standard items that aren’t allowed at any festivals. If you’re in doubt, it’s best to leave that item at home.
Coolers, grills or picnic baskets are not allowed but Music Midtown does offer a wide array of food and beverages prepared on-site for your enjoyment. If you’re curious, the list of food vendors will be posted soon.
Professional camera equipment and recording devices are NOT permitted. No cameras with video capabilities.
Rollerskates/blades, bikes, scooters, skateboards, or chairs of any kind are not allowed within the festival grounds due to the limited space of the site.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed due to Fulton County and Atlanta City ordinances. We do offer patrons of age a varied selection of alcoholic beverages for purchase.
Outside food items are not allowed.
And here’s the standard list of items that are absolutely not allowed:
- Weapons of any kind
- Fireworks or explosives of any kind
- Illegal or illicit substances of any kind
- Large backpacks (framed, hiking packs, etc.)
- Glass containers
- Metal aerosol cans, including sunscreen
- Carts, tents, and chairs of any kind
- Coolers
- Pets (except service dogs)
- No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed
- No unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc. -
Is Music Midtown wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The park entrances on 12th Street and 14th Street are wheelchair accessible. The Charles Allen Drive Gate and Park Drive Gate Music Midtown entrances are also wheelchair accessible. There are two ADA Viewing Platforms located inside the Festival, one platform at each stage. You may view more information, as well as a map by clicking here.

I am over 21, will I be able to purchase alcohol?
Anyone 21 or older attending Music Midtown with a valid government issued ID will be able to purchase alcohol on-site.

Safety & Medical
Our goal is that no one gets hurt at Music Midtown, but just in case something happens there are three First Aid stations throughout the Festival site. Additionally, there are free water stations. Stay hydrated!

I’m thinking about bringing my baby to Music Midtown. Do babies need tickets?
Yes. Any person, no matter how young or old, attending Music Midtown must have a ticket to enter the Festival.

My dog really loves live music, may I bring him?
We love pets… we even bring our pets to the office each day. But, we ask you to leave your pets at home. This is not only for the convenience of our patrons, but also for the well-being of your pets. So, no, you can’t bring your dog/cat/snake/goldfish to Music Midtown. Service dogs, with the correct credentials will be permitted.
